More than 18 thousand trees were planted in Crimea as part of an environmental campaign

An environmental campaign “Plant your tree of life” took place in Crimea, during which deputies of all levels, volunteers, and caring Crimeans planted seedlings of various plants.
Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Alla Ponomarenko took part in planting evergreen trees — thujas, cypresses, spruces — on the territory of the Lobanovskaya school-kindergarten «Zvonochek» in the Dzhankoy district. More than 600 seedlings were planted in all settlements of the district as part of the campaign.reports the press service of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
With 10th grade students of secondary school No. 42 named after. About 15 seedlings of various trees were planted by Eshref Shemy-zade of Simferopol, Vice-Speaker of the Crimean Parliament Edip Gafarov and Head of the Committee on Ecology and Natural Resources Georgy Shapovalov. As a result, the school grounds were decorated with oaks, wisteria and pine trees.
In addition, Georgy Shapovalov, together with the pupils of the municipal budgetary preschool educational institution “Kindergarten of general developmental type No. 28 “Luzhok”, planted about 60 seedlings of cedars, cypresses and thujas.
Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Oksana Dobrorez, together with deputies of the Simferopol City Council, activists and residents, planted 5 nuts and 5 bird cherry trees in the courtyard of house No. 95 on Balaklavskaya Street in the Crimean capital.
More than eight thousand Crimeans took part in the environmental campaign, who planted over 18 thousand trees.
