More than 200 self-employed Sevastopol residents pay insurance premiums
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Self-employed citizens can form their own pension by voluntarily paying contributions for compulsory pension insurance (OPS) to the Social Fund of Russia. As of today, 231 residents of Sevastopol have exercised this right.
An application to enter into voluntary legal relations under the compulsory insurance policy can be submitted in person at the client service of the Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund or electronically through the policyholder’s personal accounts on the official website of the SFR, the State Services portal, as well as in the “My Tax” mobile application. After registering in the application, the self-employed (policyholder) gets access to information about the amount of contributions to be paid in the current year, information about recorded payments to the Financial Markets Service and the amount of length of service that will be reflected on the personal account at the end of the year,” noted the department’s press service.
Important! Payment of contributions allows you to include self-employment in the insurance period and accumulate the coefficients necessary for pension.
If the activity as a self-employed person was carried out throughout the entire calendar year, then in order to include this period in the total insurance period it is necessary to pay the established minimum amount of insurance premiums for compulsory health insurance.
In 2023, the minimum amount is 42,878 rubles, which also corresponds to 1.0155 individual pension coefficient. In case of payment of contributions below the minimum amount, the period of insurance is included in the insurance period in proportion to the amount paid.
We pay special attention! Insurance premiums must be paid no later than December 31 of the current calendar year.
