More than 200 students will take part in the VIII Spartakiad of student teams of the Republic of Crimea

From October 5 to 6, on the basis of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Medical Institute named after. S.I. Georgievsky Crimean Federal University named after. V.I. Vernadsky will host the annual Spartakiad of student teams of Crimea.

As part of the sports competitions, teams of pedagogical, service, medical, construction and conductor teams will compete in team and individual sports, as well as in fulfilling the standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” — “GTO”.

The regional Spartakiad is a very important event for student teams in their region, since it is at this event that athletes are selected and teams are assembled for further participation in the district Spartakiad of student teams, at which student teams of the Crimea have more than once become the best in the Southern Federal District.

To carry out such a large-scale event, a volunteer corps of students was created who completed special training courses on organizing and conducting events within the framework of sporting events, as well as training in providing first aid.

We have been holding the Spartakiad of Crimean student teams for the 8th year in a row and we know how important it is that there are always volunteers on the site, ready at any second to provide any necessary assistance. The work of judges, the preparation and performance of teams and participants become better if volunteers at sports competitions approach their work well. This year will be no exception. A huge amount of work has already been done to ensure that the Spartakiad takes place, and the sports volunteer corps, consisting of student brigade members, greatly contributes to this. The regional headquarters of student teams of Crimea is ready to hold a sports competition for representatives of student teams of educational organizations from all regions of the Republic of Crimea at a high quality level, – said the commissioner of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian student groups, Vladislav Yezin.
