More than 23 million rubles will be allocated in Sevastopol to equip and support cultural institutions

In the 2023 year, the equipment of theaters and museums will be updated in Sevastopol, and the development of cultural institutions in the villages will be supported. These events of the regional projects «Cultural Environment» and «Creative People» were included in the program of the national project «Culture», the funds will be allocated from the federal budget.

The Department of Culture expands support programs for city institutions. It is important for us to develop rural culture, expand opportunities for realizing the creative potential of both the population and those who work in this area , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of culture Angela Sumakov.

It is assumed that 20 7 million rubles will be allocated for equipping theaters, 2.7 million rubles for technical equipment of museums. It is also planned to hold a competition for the best rural cultural institution — the winner will receive 100 thousand rubles. The best will be chosen among the employees of rural cultural institutions — the prize for the first place will be 50 thousand rubles.
