More than 3,000 Sevastopol residents passed compulsory medical examinations at the expense of insurance premiums

3,326 Sevastopol residents employed in work with harmful and dangerous production factors underwent mandatory medical examinations at the expense of insurance premiums. In 2022, more than 90 Sevastopol employers received reimbursement for the preventive measures taken to reduce occupational injuries and occupational diseases. The total amount of compensation amounted to over 15.5 million rubles.
Insurers need to apply to the Department of the Federal Financial Markets Service for Sevastopol with an application and the documents attached to it * on the financial provision of preventive measures for labor protection before August 1. After receiving the decision, employers can proceed with the implementation of the planned activities. They carry out the initial expenses on their own, and then receive compensation from the budget of the Sevastopol Branch within the agreed amount. The expenses of the current year are subject to reimbursement.
Up to 20% of the amount of insurance premiums accrued to the employer over the past year can be directed to the financial support of preventive measures. In some cases, the amount of funds can be increased up to 30%.
Preventive measures include:
- purchase of special clothing, footwear and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers in hazardous industries;
- purchase of first aid kits;
- conducting mandatory periodic medical examinations (examinations) of employees;
- conducting a special assessment of working conditions, etc.
It is necessary to report on the expenses incurred with the attachment of supporting documents no later than December 15. After receiving the application and documents, the specialists of the OSFR within 5 working days will decide on the reimbursement of the costs incurred by the employer and transfer the funds to the current account indicated in the application.
In 2022, at the expense of insurance premiums, Sevastopol employers purchased over 83,000 certified personal protective equipment for their employees; a special assessment of working conditions was carried out at 1.5 thousand jobs; more than 100 people have been trained in labor protection; as part of the implementation of measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection, more than 13 thousand PPE were purchased.
