More than 300 children with disabilities and children with disabilities intend to improve their health in Crimea

In order to create conditions for holding inclusive shifts in the 2022 year, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea identified 2 stationary institutions — this is a children’s health camp named after Yu.A. Gagarin (Yevpatoriya), which is the basic organization for inclusive recreation, and the Clinical Sanatorium «Zdravnitsa» (Yevpatoriya).

Additionally determined for inclusive shifts at the Zvezdny HC (Yevpatoriya). The institutions have created conditions for the stay of children with special needs: an accessible environment, including for children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, an equipped beach, equipment and sports equipment and simulators for adaptive physical education. In the 2022 year, the indicated institutions plan to conduct 2 inclusive shifts in May-July of the current year, during which more than 300 disabled children and children with disabilities. To conduct inclusive shifts, it is planned to attract 04 a teacher in one shift , — reported in the press service Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea.

In order to train teaching staff for these shifts, the Fevzi Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University: the Departments of Psychology, Defectology and Pedagogical Education developed and implemented a training program for counselors, psychologists, tutors, adapted to organize work during inclusive shifts.

University teachers are involved in the development of programs for inclusive shifts.

    In addition, we inform you that the Ministry is currently working on the issue of concluding an agreement on sending 150 disabled children and children with disabilities to the Federal State Budgetary Educational institution «All-Russian Children’s Center» Scarlet Sails «(Yevpatoria) in the summer 2022 of the year.

    Selection and referral of children to out-of-town recreation and health camps is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for providing vouchers for the organization of children’s recreation and their health improvement, purchased at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Crimea, approved by order of the Ministry dated 06..2022 No. 623 (hereinafter — the Procedure), which is posted on the website of the Ministry in the section «Activities», «Improvement and Recreation of Children».

    According to paragraph 1.5 of this Procedure, activities for the selection and direction of children in the organization of children’s recreation and their rehabilitation at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Crimea are carried out by authorized structural divisions of the administrations of municipalities of the Republic of Crimea in the field of recreation and rehabilitation of children.
