More than 300 SevGU graduates graduated with honors
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Honoring the best graduates of Sevastopol State University, who received a diploma with honors, was held in the Drama Theater named after A. V. Lunacharsky.
For us, this is primarily pride. Of course, we really hope for the guys that they will stay in the city and work here for the good, for the development of Sevastopol. Some of the guys were awarded certificates of the governor of Sevastopol: this is both work in public organizations and volunteer activities, the guys are activists of our public organizations, the Yunarmiya, and patriotic clubs. These are the guys who have achieved success in various competitions, scientific and research work, participated in the WorldSkills movement, various Olympiads at the All-Russian level. It is worth a lot, it glorifies our city, it also shows that here, in Sevastopol, at the Sevastopol State University, good personnel are being trained, children with a good education are being trained. The most important thing is that the guys are celebrated not only here, in Sevastopol, but also in the country— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy governor of the city Igor Mikheev.
Letters of thanks for high achievements in volunteering, science and sports from Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Sevastopol Deanery, the Legislative Assembly and the Rector of SevSU were presented to 24 graduates.
Indeed, the guys who have devoted themselves to their studies, put in a lot of work, proved themselves, and not only in studies, but also in various activities, in volunteering, in training at the Military Training Center, in many other areas, receive such worthy recognition from university, and from the city. These guys will become engineers, teachers, architects, builders, growers. There is practically no specialty and area of training in which today there would be no graduates with honors, so we really have the future of the city in front of us, people who will create and develop it with their talent and their work— notes the rector of Sevastopol State University Vladimir Nechaev.
Tatyana Morozova, a graduate of the youngest department of Sevastopol State University — the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Health Preservation, graduated with honors from the direction «Recreation and sports and health tourism». The graduate is the winner of the All-Russian Worlskills competition in the “Physical Culture, Sports and Fitness” competency, a finalist of the “Your Move” and “Masters of Hospitality” competitions. Tatyana plans to stay in Sevastopol and build a career at her native university.
Emotions are quite mixed: it is both excitement, and a sense of responsibility, and, of course, joy and pride, because we have come a long way. I am glad that on such a joyful note it ends, well, or is extended further, because further, there is still a magistracy ahead, and new discoveries, and a new path— says Tatyana Morozova.
This year, Sevastopol State University graduated 2,471 young specialists, 356 of them received red diplomas. Graduates have high achievements not only in studies, but also in science, culture, sports, voluntary and social activities.
