More than 40 Sevastopol tennis players received awards

Today the winners and prize-winners of the Sevastopol tennis championship were awarded. In parallel with the championship, the city championship is taking place — these are the annual final tennis competitions. This year more than 150 athletes took part in them.

We awarded 42 championship winners. These competitions brought together the strongest tennis players in Sevastopol — the prestige of the tournament and the responsibility of each player here is obvious. The championship included brackets under 13, 15, 17 and 19 years old, and men and women 14 years old and older in the championship— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the President of the Sevastopol Tennis Federation Ekaterina Korchak.

Competitions under the auspices of the championship and championship brought together the best and beginning tennis players of the city, each of them demonstrating the highest class of play.

The multi-day tour to victory has come to an end and today we have the best tennis players. Now the Government is paying great attention to the development of physical education and sports in general, including tennis. Very important and necessary competitions, based on the results of which the best tennis players will be selected for the lists of candidates for the sports teams of Sevastopol and they will represent our Hero City at high-level competitions— notes Nikita Dmitriev, head of the department for the development of elite sports of the sports department.
