CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the initiative of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, a cleanup day was held in the city of Evpatoria on March 2. More than 400 volunteers from all over Crimea gathered to remove garbage and improve the condition of city streets.
More than 400 volunteers from various cities and regions of the Republic of Crimea gathered on March 2 in the city of Yevpatoria. The youth of Crimea did not stand aside and joined in helping to improve the public areas of the city. During the cleanup, seven streets were cleaned.
Such events in Crimea are held regularly in order to maintain cleanliness and order in populated areas of the Republic of Crimea, as well as to draw attention to sanitary and environmental problems and the need to take care of the environment.
Cleanup is not only cleaning the territory, but also a great way to raise public spirit, active participation in socially significant work, as well as communication, good mood and positive emotions.
Taking into account the fact that the subbotnik in the city of Evpatoria included volunteers from almost all corners of Crimea, it can safely be called all-Crimean. This is not just an action to clean up the area, it is a moment when we can all show care and responsibility for our surrounding space. By joining forces, we are making the city cleaner, more comfortable and attractive to live in. Holding a cleanup day is a necessity in order to preserve the beauty and uniqueness of our cities and towns, so that they delight Crimeans and guests of the peninsula with their beauty,” said Karina Gayanova, a volunteer of the Crimean regional branch of Russian Student Teams.
