More than 450 Sevastopol residents receive a pension supplement for rural experience

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Sevastopol pensioners living in rural areas are entitled to a 25 percent increase from the fixed payment established for the old-age or disability insurance pension. To do this, you must have at least 30 years of experience in agriculture, live in a rural area and not be employed. The SFR branch for Sevastopol established such payments for 451 pensioners.

When calculating “rural” experience, work on collective farms, state farms and other agricultural enterprises and organizations is taken into account, subject to employment in animal husbandry, crop production and fish farming. A list of 500 specialties that give the right to such additional payment has been approved by the Government of Russia (https://base.garant.ru/72119836/).

Rural experience, regardless of the name of the profession, specialty or position held, includes work that was performed before January 1, 1992 on Russian collective farms, machine and tractor stations, inter-collective farm enterprises, state farms, peasant farms and agricultural artels— the press service quotes the manager of the SFR Branch for Sevastopol, Elena Gaivoronskaya.

In addition, 30 years of experience includes not only work time, but also periods of child care for up to one and a half years, conscription service in the army, vacations and sick leave that occurred during rural work.

The additional payment for “rural experience” is established from the day the pension is assigned. But if a rural pensioner has documents confirming the fact of such work, he can apply for additional payment to the client service of the regional Branch of the Social Fund or to the nearest MFC.

Elena Gaivoronskaya also drew attention to the fact that in case of moving from a rural area to a city, the right to an already assigned pension supplement is retained.

Sevastopol residents can get advice on pension and social security issues by calling the single contact center 8-800-100-00-01 (Monday to Thursday from 09.00 to 18.00, on Friday until 16.45). The call is free.
