More than 5,500 statements were submitted to Sevastopol Colleges and technical schools

The reception campaign in institutions of secondary vocational education (SPO) started on June 20 and will last until August 15. The creative specialties, which are provided for entrance tests, until August 10.

Every year, youth interest in working professions is growing, and the demand for the SPO system is dictated by the economy challenges. More than 5,500 statements have already been submitted to the Sevastopol Colleges and technical schools subordinate to the Department of Education and Science, and the Department of Health. Last year there were more than 11 thousand statements for the entire reception campaign, in 2023 — 9 thousand. The largest number of statements this year submitted to the architectural and construction college –1155, the college of information technology and industry is 1049. The applicants’ interest in these institutions is related to the opening opportunities thanks to the participation of Sevastopol in the federal project «Professor»,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, First Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science, Anton Ulyantsev.

The college of information technology and industry already from the 2025/26 academic year joins the federal project «Professor» and becomes the core of the cluster in the transport industry. In addition, in the college since 2025, a set for the specialty in modern realities was first opened “Operation of unmanned aviation systems”.

Within the framework of the Federal Professor Project, on the basis of the architectural and construction college, a construction cluster is being created by 2026. New areas of training are opened: the production of non -metallic construction products and structures; water supply and sanitation; information modeling in construction; heat supply and heat equipment; additive technologies; Applied geodesy.

We update all curricula and programs, they will be radically changed as part of practice-oriented training. This year, the situation with targeted training has changed significantly. Employers of the city willingly take this step and conclude agreements with the guys. The graduate will guarantee a workplace in a promising company. At the moment, for the first year we have 43 consent of employers to conclude targeted contracts. Also, in the course of training, the guys undergo practice, gain experience and skills, — told the Deputy Director of the Architectural and Construction College for Development, Secretary of the Admissions Commission of the College Irina Subbotina.

A large number of statements also in a multidisciplinary college, professional art college, trade and economic college, as well as in a medical college.
