CrimeaPRESS reports:

Since December, in the center of Sevastopol — on Nakhimov Square and on the observation deck on Nakhimov Avenue — the Festive Fair was held. It was visited by more than 50 thousand residents and guests of the city. Ten outlets, decorated in the form of festive houses, presented traditional New Year decorations, as well as unique items.

Citizens and guests of Sevastopol are already accustomed to the fact that in the central part of the city, near the main Christmas tree, on the eve of the New Year and Christmas, a large event fair is held. The New Year’s Fair creates a festive atmosphere for residents and guests of the city during the holidays , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market Natalia Skoryukova.

Visitors were also offered hot soft drinks — tea, coffee, mulled wine, uzvar. You could have a bite to eat fragrant pancakes, crispy chebureks, gingerbread, cotton candy, shish kebab and other dishes.

In total, more than five thousand pancakes with various fillings were baked for visitors to the fair, for which 250 liters of dough were kneaded. It was possible to drink pancakes with tea from a large Russian samovar with volumes of 40 liters. Over the period of the fair, more than 500 liters of fragrant tea were prepared.

The city bakery «Sevastopol gingerbread» offered visitors handmade honey gingerbread, made in the New Year theme. More than 1.5 thousand gingerbreads were prepared for children and adults.

In addition, residents and guests of the city could purchase glass Christmas decorations from the Elochka factory, the oldest Russian enterprise producing such products. The factory is located in the homeland of the Russian glassblowing industry, in the Klin district of the Moscow region.
