More than 512 million rubles allocated for catering in Simferopol schools

Natalya Matyukhina, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Simferopol Administration, told in more detail which categories of children are provided with free hot meals.
Catering for schoolchildren of the city is under the special control of the administration of Simferopol. Currently, all catering units, school canteens and food service cafes comply with the requirements of federal law. More than 21 thousand students in grades 1-4 receive free hot meals through intergovernmental transfers from the federal budget— said Natalya Matyukhina.
According to her, to date, work has been completed on the overhaul of 12 catering units and school canteens.
Schoolchildren in grades 5-11 of preferential categories, including children from low-income and large families, children with disabilities and disabilities, internally displaced persons, orphans and those left without parental care, receive hot meals at the expense of the municipal budget. In total, there are more than 4 thousand such schoolchildren in the city.
Children from families of participants in a special military operation, whose parents are currently in the combat zone, are under special control in the provision of free hot meals. Two meals a day are also organized in extended day groups.added the deputy head of the department.
In total, more than 512 million rubles have been allocated for catering in Simferopol this year.
