At the same time, almost 1 thousand km of the coastline of Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory is monitored. In 17 places, point emissions of fuel oil are recorded. In total, 347 km of shores were cleared from the beginning of the work, from which 178.5 thousand tons of contaminated soil were collected.

The divers of the Ministry of Emergencies, along with the underwater drone, continue to examine the sunken parts of tankers, the sea bottom and the infrastructure of the beaches. In Vityazevo under water, 1.3 tons of oil products are collected per day.

In total, diving groups of the Russian Emergencies Ministry from the beginning of work, 230 descents have been carried out— added in the department.
