Already 642 families in Sevastopol have managed maternity capital through banks that exchange data with the Social Fund (SFR). Information interaction between the Fund and credit institutions has been established since 2020.
Transferring information from banks allows Sevastopol parents, simultaneously with applying for a loan, to immediately submit an application for the disposal of maternity capital for the purchase or construction of housing. The certificate is used to pay off the principal debt or the down payment on the loan. As a result, instead of two applications — to the bank and to the Sevastopol Branch of the Financial Markets Service — the owner of the certificate only needs to contact the bank. Financial institutions submit applications and necessary documents to the regional Office of the Financial Markets Service via electronic communication channels, which speeds up the process of disposing of funds. If the loan has already been issued, parents will be able to submit an application for disposal to the SFR using electronic services (Unified Portal of State Services, personal account on the SFR website). However, in this case, information exchange with banks helps to direct funds for the chosen purposes, since the certificate holder does not need to submit documents and certificates on the issued loan to the Financial Markets Service. The department will request all this information independently.,” noted the department’s press service.
Today, the Sevastopol Branch of the Financial Markets Service has entered into data exchange agreements with Sberbank, RNKB, ChBRR and Promsvyazbank so that even more parents can more conveniently use maternity capital to improve their living conditions.
Let us remind you that the maternity capital program has been operating in Russia since 2007, and in Sevastopol since 2015. Initially, families with two children could apply for support; later the measures were extended to first-born children.
The Social Fund issues maternity capital only once. Funds can be used to improve living conditions, educate children, mother’s funded pension, monthly payments for children under 3 years of age, or purchase goods and services intended for social adaptation and habilitation of children with disabilities. You can choose one option or distribute the money in several directions.
