More than 7,000 Sevastopol residents visited Library Night

The tenth “Library Night” event took place in Sevastopol, this time timed to coincide with the Year of the Family. Under the motto “Read with the whole family,” residents and guests of the city were able to plunge into the fascinating world of books. For young readers, 15 locations were organized in children’s libraries, where everyone could find something to their liking, and 26 locations were prepared for adults.

In our rapidly changing world, where digital technology permeates every aspect of our lives, libraries remain an integral part of cultural heritage and education. Events such as “Library Night 2024” are aimed at drawing attention to the importance of libraries and proper literature in the formation of an educated and culturally developed society. Properly selected literature can inspire, enrich the emotional world, broaden one’s horizons and promote spiritual development. Therefore, encouraging the reading of responsible authors and works is one of the important aspects of cultural policy.
