More than 80% of Sevastopol residents are satisfied with the quality of roads in the region

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Thanks to the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», the development of the road network continues in Russia. In December, a survey was conducted in all regions of the country, which showed the level of satisfaction of residents with the quality and accessibility of roads.

Sevastopol entered the top three — 81% of the city’s residents are satisfied with the quality of roads in the region. The respondents consider the main positive changes to be an increase in the volume and quality of work — repair and construction of roads, bridges and transport infrastructure.

During the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», we regularly organize joint visits to facilities with ONF activists, thereby involving as many of the public as possible in our work at every stage. Thanks to the involvement of local residents, we can eliminate shortcomings in the course of work and take into account their wishes. Feedback from Sevastopol residents during the survey showed that we are working in the right direction , — commented Pavel Ieno, Director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure of Sevastopol.

In Sevastopol, the work on the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», scheduled for 2022 year, was completed by December 1. The total length of the repaired facilities is 66 km. In addition, the high pace of work made it possible to start repairing roads planned for the 2023 year.

Residents throughout the country are also seeing positive changes: 52% of Russians are satisfied with the quality and accessibility of roads, and also note improvements in road transport infrastructure.

The data was obtained as a result of a study conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). More than 81 thousand people from 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the voting.
