This year, more than 80 Sevastopol entrepreneurs took part in 20 exhibition and fair events. Assistance to business representatives was provided by the Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the “My Business” center, as well as the Industrial Development Fund. An exhibition-fair is a unique opportunity to talk about your activities, your creativity, and offer your products and services on one platform. Ensuring participation in fair events is one of the support measures for entrepreneurs and self-employed people, which can be obtained from the “My Business” center.
In 2023, the “My Business” center of Sevastopol provided support to 43 SMEs and self-employed people in the city as part of five exhibitions. In addition, the Sevastopol Export Support Center facilitated the participation of 32 Sevastopol companies in nine exhibitions. As part of this support, services were provided in the amount of 11.2 million rubles– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko.
Organizing participation in an exhibition-fair includes paying for the rental of exhibition space, paying registration fees, setting up a stand, installing additional equipment, producing souvenirs, and printing presentation materials.
With the help of the services provided, entrepreneurs in our city can enter foreign markets in countries of both the EAEU and non-CIS countries. Thus, with the help of the Sevastopol Export Support Center, Anastasia Evstratova attracted foreign buyers and concluded a contract for the supply of protein bars and peanut butter. This became possible thanks to participation in a business mission to Dubai, organized by the Export Support Center.
Industrial enterprises of Sevastopol have the opportunity to take part in the program “Reimbursement of part of the costs for participation in exhibition events” of the Industrial Development Fund, which will allow them to reimburse up to 350 thousand rubles.
Six industrial enterprises of the city received financial support for participation in exhibition events through the Sevastopol Industrial Development Fund in 2023 for a total amount of more than 1.8 million rubles. At the exhibitions, each enterprise in its industry presented products manufactured using innovative solutions and advanced technologies,” emphasizes Maria Litovko.
Company executives note that exhibition events are, first of all, direct negotiations with existing partners and potential clients, as well as an opportunity to conclude lucrative contracts for the coming year.
