More than 800 mothers of Sevastopol received maternity allowance in 2023

CrimeaPRESS reports:

This year, the Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund assigned insurance benefits for pregnancy and childbirth to 838 mothers on maternity leave. In total, they received 113.4 million rubles.

The amount of the benefit depends on several factors: earnings, the complexity of childbirth, singleton or multiple pregnancy matters. In Sevastopol, the maximum payment of maternity benefits in the current year is 383,178 rubles for the birth of one child and 530,976 rubles if two or more children are born. At the same time, the minimum maternity allowance is 74,757 rubles for the mother of one child and 103,592 rubles for the birth of several children at once. In case of complicated childbirth (for 156 days), the minimum amount of the benefit will be 83,300 rubles, the maximum — 426,970 rubles— noted in the press service of the Department of the Fund.

The payment of benefits is made one-time for the entire period of vacation in an unclaimed manner. The FIS branch in Sevastopol sends the employer a pre-filled register for the assignment of benefits, based on data obtained as part of interagency cooperation. In turn, he clarifies the information, corrects the register if necessary and returns it to the Sevastopol Branch, after which the payment is made within 10 working days. Funds are transferred directly to the personal account of a citizen or through the post office.
