More than 9 thousand women and newborns in Sevastopol received services under birth certificates
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Last year, more than 9 thousand women and newborns in Sevastopol received medical services using birth certificates. For the assistance received to city residents in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, the regional Branch of the SFR transferred more than 37 million rubles to medical institutions.
An electronic birth certificate is a document that gives a pregnant woman the right to choose a medical organization for childbirth, observation during and after pregnancy, as well as for medical examinations of the child in the first year of life. An electronic certificate is generated upon your first visit to the antenatal clinic at your place of residence or in the maternity hospital.
The transition to an electronic form of birth certificate has significantly simplified the procedure for filling out the document for medical workers, and for women it has eliminated the need to carry and present a paper form. OSFR for Sevastopol receives all the necessary information automatically,” the press service quotes the manager of the Fund’s Branch, Elena Gaivoronskaya.
The certificate consists of three coupons. Each coupon is filled out when a woman visits a selected medical institution: antenatal clinic, maternity hospital, children’s clinic. It is impossible to cash out funds from birth certificate coupons; they are transferred to the medical organization to their personal accounts.
You can view the certificate in your personal account on the State Services portal after the medical institution generates it. Important! If the expectant mother is observed on a paid basis, then the birth certificate is not generated until she contacts the children’s clinic. Services provided by medical organizations are subject to payment only within the framework of compulsory medical insurance.
More information about the electronic birth certificate can be found at official page of the SFR.
