More than 900 examinations were carried out on the new ultrasound machine at the Inkerman Children's Clinic

A new ultrasound machine is in operation at the Inkerman Children’s Clinic. The equipment was purchased and put into operation thanks to the implementation of the regional project «Modernization of primary health care» of the national project «Health». The mobile ultrasound machine is equipped with all the necessary sensors — convex, linear and phased. The new equipment makes it possible to study the heart and blood vessels, see their anatomy, the relationship between the chambers and walls of the main human organ, large vessels, assess the condition and operation of valves, and other features. Doctors have already noted the accuracy of the studies carried out on it.

From the beginning of December last year to June, more than 900 examinations have already been carried out on the equipment. This is an impressive number. This is especially true for the children’s population of Inkerman. We have children, monitoring of which in dynamics is very important.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the polyclinic of the city of Inkerman Larisa Voronova.

Recall that the national project «Healthcare» is aimed at improving the provision of medical care, including the prevention of diseases and the formation of a healthy lifestyle. To do this, new facilities are being created in the regions in which primary health care is provided, and qualified personnel are attracted to work in them. Old facilities are being overhauled to provide comfortable conditions for patients to stay in medical organizations. Outdated equipment is being replaced to improve the availability and quality of medical care.
