More than a thousand medical workers issued early retirement in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, out of about 100,000 recipients of insurance old-age pensions, more than 14,000 people receive early pensions, including 1,167 health workers.

Despite the fact that the legislation provides for a phased increase in the retirement period within 5 years, the seniority requirements for early retirement for doctors remain the same. Medical workers still have the right to receive an insurance pension earlier than the generally accepted age. The main parameter for this remains the developed medical experience.— noted in the press service of the Department of the SFR in Sevastopol.

For early retirement, as before, you must have:

  • at least 25 years of medical experience, if labor activity took place only in healthcare institutions located in rural areas and urban-type settlements;
  • at least 30 years of medical experience, if the labor activity was carried out in medical institutions only in cities, or there is a “mixed” experience — both in cities, and in rural areas, and in urban-type settlements.

When determining the right to an early insurance pension for medical workers, a list of positions and institutions is used in which work gives the right to such a pension, as well as the rules for calculating special length of service, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 29, 2002 No. 781 *.

The calculation of special experience is made in calendar order. At the same time, the rules establish special cases when the calculation of this experience can be carried out on a preferential basis, namely:

  • in the presence of «mixed» experience — 1 year of work in rural areas is counted for 1 year and 3 months;
  • if there is work in the departments of the surgical profile of hospitals, departments of anesthesiology-resuscitation, resuscitation and intensive care, pathological and anatomical departments and in departments (departments) of all types of forensic medical examination bureaus — 1 year of work is counted for 1 year and 6 months.

For health workers who provided medical care to patients with a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 and suspected COVID-19 in the period from January 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020, 1 day of work in conditions of COVID-19 is counted as 2 days.

Health workers can apply for an early pension on the Gosuslugi portal, the MFC or the SFR client service at the place of residence. It is necessary to present a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, a work book, a birth certificate for children (for women), a military ID, as well as a certificate confirming the preferential length of service. The term for consideration of the application is 10 working days.

* Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 29, 2002 N 781 “On the lists of jobs, professions, positions, specialties and institutions, taking into account which an old-age labor pension is early assigned in accordance with Article 27 of the Federal Law “On labor pensions in the Russian Federation”, and on the approval of the rules for calculating periods of work giving the right to early appointment of an old-age labor pension in accordance with Article 27 of the Federal Law «On labor pensions in the Russian Federation» (as amended and supplemented)
