More than a thousand medical workers retired early in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On June 16, healthcare workers celebrate their professional holiday. On the eve of the holiday, the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol reminds that medical workers can be assigned a pension early, taking into account the transition period for raising the retirement age — five years after acquiring special medical experience. In Sevastopol, 1,180 medical workers took advantage of the right to early retirement.

To do this, Sevastopol doctors need to have:

  • at least 25 years of medical experience working in rural areas and urban settlements;
  • at least 30 years of medical experience only in cities, or with “mixed” medical experience — in medical institutions located in cities, villages and urban-type settlements;
  • at least 28.2 individual pension coefficients (IPC) in 2024.

Calculation of special length of service is carried out in calendar order. But there are special cases when it is taken into account on a preferential basis:

  • if you have “mixed” experience, 1 year of work in rural areas is counted as 1 year and 3 months;
  • if you work in surgical departments of hospitals, departments of anesthesiology-reanimation, resuscitation and intensive care, pathological-anatomical departments and in departments (departments) of all types of forensic medical examination bureaus — 1 year of work is counted as 1 year and 6 months;
  • For health workers who, during the period from January 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020, provided medical care to patients with COVID-19 and suspected COVID-19, one day of work in such conditions is counted as two days.

Starting from 2019, the retirement of health workers is determined taking into account the transition period to raise the retirement age. The early assignment of pensions to doctors was transferred gradually — within 5 years from the date of development of special experience. For example, this year, doctors who completed their special service in 2019 have the right to early retirement,” — the manager of the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol clarified Elena Gaivoronskaya.

It should also be taken into account that the right to early retirement is granted to health workers who work in healthcare institutions and occupy positions provided for Lists* positions and institutions — https://base.garant.ru/185191/.

Two years before the right to early retirement, Sevastopol doctors can contact the regional Department of the SFR to carry out advance work with their documents on preferential length of service. Specialists of the Department will check the correctness of filling out the work book, certificates confirming the preferential nature of work, information about earnings, etc., and, if necessary, make requests for missing information.

Sevastopol residents can get advice by calling the SFR’s single contact center: 8 (800) 100-00-01 (calls from all phones are free).

*Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 29, 2002 N 781 “On the lists of jobs, professions, positions, specialties and institutions, taking into account which an old-age labor pension is assigned early in accordance with Article 27 of the Federal Law “On Labor Pensions in the Russian Federation”, and on approval of the rules for calculating periods of work giving the right to early assignment of an old-age labor pension in accordance with Article 27 of the Federal Law “On Labor Pensions in the Russian Federation” (as amended and supplemented).
