More than a thousand people visited free excursions dedicated to Guide Day in Crimea. The excursions took place during the week from February 18 to 24 in all resort towns of the peninsula. The action was organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, with the assistance of municipal administrations.
Experienced guides conducted sightseeing tours for Crimeans and guests of the peninsula in Alushta, Evpatoria, Saki, Feodosia, Sudak, and 6 excursions were held in Kerch.
There were 8 excursions on the South Coast — from Gurzuf to Foros. According to the guide of the Yalta Guide Comfort Travel Agency, Lyudmila Dyakonova, about 500 people visited the Yalta excursions.
In Simferopol, 3 free excursions were for the first time organized by the Tourist Information Center of Crimea together with the Crimean Railway at the railway station of the Crimean capital.

We have our own reputable methodological school; at the moment, more than a third of the guides have already received certification name badges. This is a profession to which people are devoted all their lives, this is patriotism and love for their land, which is especially valuable for Crimea, because these are the details, the atmosphere thanks to which our guests return here again and again, and Crimeans learn more about their native land,” commented the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
