More than ten investment projects are being successfully implemented in the agricultural sector of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Since 2014, more than a dozen large investment projects in the agricultural sector of Crimea have been implemented in the Republic. This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova. For 2014 – 2023, the amount of investment in the fixed capital of organizations in agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing, fish farming, as well as the production of food and beverages in the Republic of Crimea without small businesses is estimated to be more than 38.7 billion rubles.
The implementation of large investment projects performs very important social functions. Thanks to the work of such new facilities, additional jobs for Crimeans appear in our agro-industrial complex; investment projects become an impetus for the development of various sectors of Crimean agriculture.
For example, during this time, such enterprises as Belogorsky Greenhouse Plant LLC appeared with a total area of 17.24 hectares in the Belogorsky district. Over the course of several years, two lines of greenhouses were put into operation in which tomatoes and cucumbers are grown. Also, there are successful investment projects, thanks to the implementation of which a fruit storage facility for 15 thousand tons with a controlled gas environment appeared in the Krasnogvardeisky district at Crimean Fruit Company JSC and a fruit storage facility for 16 thousand tons with a controlled gas environment in the Kirov region at Fruits of Old Crimea LLC.— commented Alime Zaredinova.
According to the deputy minister, investment projects in Crimea are being implemented in other directions. At a livestock enterprise in the Simferopol region, a cowshed for 316 heads with a milking unit for 20 places has been modernized. At the butter factory in the Razdolnensky district, production lines have been reconstructed; the dairy plant’s equipment allows it to process up to 150 tons of milk per day. An investment project for the reconstruction of a feed mill has been implemented in the Krasnogvardeisky district.
Also, during 2014-2023, the Republic of Crimea increased storage capacity for fruit and vegetable products by 67 thousand tons due to the commissioning of 22 modern fruit and vegetable storage facilities.
