Morning accident in Sevastopol: a 74-year-old woman was hit by a foreign car

The police are conducting an investigation into a traffic accident in Sevastopol with an injured pedestrian.

Today at 8:15 on the highway near the public transport stop «Fisherman’s Wharf», a 47-year-old woman, driving a Volvo, hit a 74-year-old woman who was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing, from right to left in the direction of the car’s movement.

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.— reported the Sevastopol Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the results of the medical examination, the driver is sober. Currently, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is conducting an investigation into the accident with the victim, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
