Morning accident on the highway «Simferopol — Yalta» — 67-year-old driver lost speed

This morning (at about 6:00 am) an accident occurred on the Simferopol-Yalta highway, in which a 67-year-old driver was injured. As clarified in the GIBZHZH, the accident happened near the village of Gurzuf on an empty road.

The 67-year-old driver, driving a Hyundai Elantra, lost control, did not choose a safe speed, and therefore allowed a collision with an obstacle (power line support). As a result of an accident, the driver was provided with one-time assistance at the scene— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The accident is under investigation and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
