This morning (at 9:05) an accident occurred on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway in which two people died. According to the traffic police, a GAZelle and a passenger car collided in the Saki region.
On the highway «Simferopol — Evpatoria», in the direction of Simferopol at 31 km +900 m, the driver of a GAZ car entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Volkswagen Polo car, which was moving in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the Volkswagen Polo received injuries incompatible with life. The driver of the GAZ car was taken to a medical facility with injuries.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Saki region worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation into the traffic accident is underway and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
