Most citizens consider obtaining higher education compulsory

87% of the country’s residents responded this way, says «Weber». The same number of respondents would like their children or grandchildren to receive higher education. A nationwide online survey was conducted on the eve of the start of the admissions campaign in higher educational institutions.
At the Crimean Federal University. IN AND. Vernadsky named the most popular specialties among applicants on the peninsula: dentistry, advertising and public relations, political science, and jurisprudence.
And at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after. F. Yakubova is in demand for IT specialties, economics, the faculty of psychology, and speech therapy.
Weber also reported that in the survey, Russians identified several main reasons why people decide to study at a university. More than half of those surveyed cited increased chances of building a successful career as the reason for enrolling in a university, and 50% cited the opportunity to earn a higher income. 49% indicated that the motive for obtaining higher education is the possibility of employment, 33% — increasing social status, and 30% — obtaining a diploma.
The Weber sociological agency is unique in its own way: it combines a classical approach with digital technologies, and puts people with their original views and contradictions as a priority.
