Most Crimeans prefer to address people by name and formally when communicating with recruiters

Most of both job seekers and recruiters prefer to be addressed by name, but with the formal «you». In a survey by a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population and recruiters from Crimea took part.
Most Crimeans (57%) prefer that recruiters address them by name, but with the formal «you». 24% of respondents believe that the most appropriate option would be to address them not only with «you», but also with their first name and patronymic. 9% note that they feel more comfortable communicating with «you» and by name. Women often prefer to be addressed by name, but with the formal «you». Supporters of addressing by first name and patronymic and simply by name are more among men— the service’s press service notes.
Young people under 34 prefer to be addressed by name: 16% even agree to be addressed as «you», and 52% — as «you». Every third city resident over 45 prefers to be addressed by name and patronymic.
Recruiters prefer to be addressed by name, but with the formal «you» (75%) even more often than applicants. But a candidate won’t make a mistake if he addresses an older recruiter by his first name and patronymic — every fourth employer over 45 prefers this form of address.
