Motherhood is hard work. In Sevastopol, more than 400 mothers of many children retired early
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Mothers with many children have the right to retire earlier than the generally established retirement age. If a woman has three children, she can apply for an old-age pension at the age of 57, if four — at the age of 56, and if five or more children, then at the age of 50. To do this, all children must be eight years old at the time of application, have at least 15 years of work experience, and the number of individual pension coefficients in 2024 — 28.2 (from 2025 — no less than 30).
For the early assignment of a pension, periods of caring for children (including adopted children) are also taken into account if the mother officially worked before or after maternity leave and insurance premiums were paid for her. In this case, the length of service includes 1.5 years for each child, but no more than 6 years in total. In addition, individual pension coefficients (IPC) are calculated, but not more than for 4 children, — said Elena Gaivoronskaya, manager of the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol.
So, for one year of caring for the first child, 1.8 IPCs are taken into account, which means that for 1.5 years of care, 2.7 IPCs will be taken into account; for 1 year of caring for a second child — 3.6 IPC, therefore, for 1.5 years — 5.4 IPC; for 1 year of caring for the third and fourth child — 5.4 IPC, i.e. for 1.5 years for each child — 8.1 IPC.
If a mother of many children, who retired early, has minor children under 18 years of age, or full-time student children under 23 years of age, a supplement for each child (but not more than three) may be added to her old-age insurance pension. children).
An application for early assignment of a pension, as well as for an increase in pension for schoolchildren or students, can be submitted to the MFC, at the client services of the SFR Branch in Sevastopol, or electronically on the government services portal.
