Motorcycle and moped — in the trash. Accident on the highway Alushta-Sudak-Feodosia turned into a tragedy — two dead

According to preliminary data, on June 25, 2023, at about 21:00 on the Alushta-Sudak-Feodosia highway (81 km. + 300 m.), a 23-year-old driver of the Ryder motorcycle, moving from Sudak in the direction of Feodosia, when turning left drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Viper moped, driven by an underage driver, moving from the side of the village. Grushevka in the direction of Sudak.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Ryder motorcycle died from his injuries at the scene of the accident before the arrival of an ambulance. The 15-year-old driver and 14-year-old passenger of the moped were injured and taken to a medical facility. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate in Sudak are conducting an inspection to find out how the minor ended up driving a vehicle without the right to drive it. The issue of bringing the parents of a minor driver to liability established by law is being resolved— the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Republic of Crimea notes.

Later it became known that the minor driver of the moped died from his injuries in the hospital.
