MTS intends to cancel roaming in Crimea and Sevastopol

The company notified the FAS Russia of the voluntary execution of the order of the service and the termination of the judicial appeal. According to the FAS, the new principles of MTS tariffs will be implemented in stages, they will completely cancel roaming no later than June 30, 2025.

Earlier, the service recognized the operator as a violator of antimonopoly legislation (namely paragraph 3 of part 1 of Article 10 of the Federal Law dated 07.26.2006 No. 135-ФЗ “On Protection of Competition”) and ordered to terminate the additional fee for its subscribers for the use of communication services in the Crimean Peninsula.

The company appealed the decision and order of the FAS, but the Moscow Arbitration Court supported the position of the department.
