Murder in the city of Old Crimea: why an aggressive Crimean stabbed his neighbor’s father to death

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is investigating a criminal case regarding the murder of a 70-year-old resident of the city of Old Crimea (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Kirov Interdistrict Investigation Department established that a 58-year-old resident of Stary Krym, who had dislike for a fellow countryman, arrived in the evening of May 9 at the property at his place of residence on the street. Being in the courtyard of the household and not finding the man, the aggressive defendant entered into a conflict with his father, during which he struck him in the chest with a knife he brought with him. The victim died on the spot from his wound, and the attacker fled the scene of the crime.— reported in Sledkom.
The crime remained unsolved for several days. In the course of well-planned and carried out jointly with employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kirovsky District, the identity of the person involved in the commission of the crime was established and he was detained.
During the investigation, the man indicated the place where he hid the crime weapon. He was charged with committing a particularly serious crime and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention.
Currently, forensic examinations are being carried out and other investigative actions are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the crime.
