In the Saki region, a man was sentenced to 9 years in prison (under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for the murder of his friend.

The court found that in September 2023, in the morning, while intoxicated and with an acquaintance at his place of residence, the defendant stabbed the victim twice in the neck and chest during a conflict. The latter died as a result of his injuries.— reported the prosecutor’s office.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 9 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
