In Crimea, on the eve of Christmas, directly on the holiday itself and after it, you will be able to listen to works by classical composers, lyrical songs and jazz compositions. January 5, Yalta, House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov. Concert «Christmas Meetings».

The concert will take place at the Chekhov Museum as part of a series of festive events, more about which — Here. The winner of international competitions, member of the Union of Concert Artists of the Russian Federation Oksana Senchina and virtuoso guitarist Dmitry Starov will perform for the audience. This time the jazz concert will be for Christmas. The appropriate mood will be created by famous musicians of Crimea: jazz diva Anna Shakel, saxophonist, Honored Artist of Crimea Viktor Nikulin, Paranormal Jazz Trio and the trio of virtuosos “A3”, which includes participants of international festivals, finalists of the television competition “New Star”.

In addition to music, the organizers will hold a Christmas market. Local farmers will present cheese, wine, honey, snails, confitures and other products for guests to taste. And artisans will offer aroma candles, oils, cosmetics, toys, etc. Master classes on painting, pottery, and making Christmas wreaths and toys are also planned.

In the food zone you will be able to taste dishes cooked over a fire: fish soup, pilaf, shish kebab, vegetables, Viennese waffles.

The festive program will open in the Skelskaya Cave at 17:00. The concert will feature a duet between Honored Artist of Crimea Victoria Nakorneeva and Honored Artist of Sevastopol Anna Kachalova. Both have mezzo-soprano voices. The vocalists will be accompanied by accordionist Ali Bekirov.

Prayerful music, Christmas lyrics and other works by Russian and Western European authors will be performed for listeners. Seating is not provided. During the event you can walk around the cave.

The musical program will be presented by the Crimean State Philharmonic. The winner of international competitions, the chamber choir “Tavrichesky Blagovest”, will perform for the audience. Works for choir will be performed a cappella, written by Ostap Nizhankovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Nikolai Leontovich, Valery Kalistratov, Vladimir Fainer, Vissarion Shebalin, Kirill Stetsenko. All works are dedicated to Christmas.
