Since 2019 the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» has been implemented in Sevastopol. One of its priority areas is ensuring the accessibility of road infrastructure for people with disabilities. This year, the local Government notes, it is planned to repair 73 the road network and two bridge structures in the city — everywhere specialists will ensure unimpeded movement for groups of citizens with limited mobility. Road workers are equipping exits to pedestrian crossings, lowering curbs, equipping ramps. A large amount of work is carried out in the Leninsky and Nakhimovsky districts of the city.

According to the specialist, the pedestrian paths at the repair sites are placed on the same level with the carriageway in compliance with urban planning requirements, as well as the conditions for ensuring road safety.
