Never a gentleman: in Sevastopol, a man is suspected of assault on a woman

It was previously established that a 40-year-old locksmith of one of the city’s enterprises met one of the patients in the hospital, and after intimate conversations, he invited him to his home to celebrate the acquaintance with his cohabitant. However, after significant alcohol consumption, the guest began to behave aggressively and kicked his drinking buddy out of the apartment. Left alone with a 64-year-old woman, the brawler threatened her with violence and demanded that she give him her watch. Having received a categorical refusal, he inflicted several blows with his fist on the face and head of the victim, independently removed a woman’s watch from her, and also stole a mobile phone and 700 rubles from the bedside table. After the attack, the perpetrator fled in an unknown direction. The amount of material damage caused was about seven thousand rubles.
As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nakhimovsky district located the suspect and detained him.
The attacker was charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Robbery». The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to eight years.
