Russia and Türkiye reached an agreement on the supply of one million tons of grain. About it informed Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko.
All principal agreements have been reached. We expect that in the near future we will already enter into working contacts with all parties to work out all the technical aspects of the scheme for such supplies.the diplomat said.
As the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation noted, the parties have to consider several more issues.
These are logistics, finance and much more, routes, countries of destination, quantityGrushko added.
Formerly Russian Foreign Ministry informedthat Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to supply 1 million tons of grain to Turkey at a reduced price with financial support from Qatar. After processing in Turkey, the grain will go to the most needy countries.
