To improve the quality of medical care for patients, the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Evpatoria Maternity Hospital” purchased modern medical equipment — an endoscopic visualization system for performing laparoscopic operations.
As the Republican Ministry of Health clarified, such surgical interventions have many advantages over traditional abdominal surgeries, since they are performed through small incisions in the skin. Laparoscopy in gynecological practice is most often used for diseases such as ovarian cysts, myomatous nodes, tubal obstruction, endometriosis and its complications.
The purchased equipment allows high-resolution visualization of internal organs and their diseases, which ensures the safety of surgical interventions. The use of such equipment reduces the risk of complications for patients and shortens the postoperative recovery periodnoted the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
The device, worth 10.4 million rubles, was purchased using funds from the rationed safety stock of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the Republic of Crimea.
