With the money saved when buying a new tomograph, six more units of medical equipment will be purchased for healthcare institutions in Sevastopol. The relevant resolution was adopted today during a government meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. In particular, new equipment will appear in medical institutions of the Balaklava district.
As part of the purchase of a computer tomograph, which will be located in a new module on Nadezhdintsev Street, the savings amounted to more than 5 million rubles. With these funds, we plan to purchase new pieces of equipment for medical institutions in the Balaklava district , — said Vitaly Denisov, director of the Sevastopol Health Department.
It is planned to purchase new ophthalmic tonometers, a colposcope for a antenatal clinic, as well as a universal ultrasound imaging system for a children’s polyclinic in Inkerman.
In addition, at a meeting of the city government, a decision was made to increase preferential drug coverage by 72, 7 million rubles. The money will be used to purchase medicines for all benefits.
Recall that the supply of new medical equipment is part of the implementation of the regional program «Modernization of primary health care» and the achievement of key indicators of the national project «Health». The large-scale program is designed to ensure the availability and quality of primary health care by strengthening the material and technical base in medical institutions and solving the problem of a shortage of medical personnel.
