New exhibition project presented at the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the exhibition «From Origins to Perfection» was opened in the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage.
The exposition presents ancient handmade items of the late 19th — early 20th centuries from the museum collection and works by modern masters, including samples of embroidery, weaving, clothing, ceramic vessels and dishes, felt products, copper utensils, etc., introducing history, traditions and culture of the Crimean Tatars.
Works by jeweler Eldar Islamov, coppersmiths Rustem and Nuri Dervish, ceramists Eldar Gusenov, Abdyul Seit-Ametov, Edem Ganiev, Aziz and Anife Velillyaevs, Bekir Musa, felt craftsmen Niyara Memetova, Elmas Appazova, founders and The teachers of the «Steps» school — masters of artistic embroidery and gold embroidery Khalida Kipchakova, costume designer Venera Kurmaeva, their students, embroiderers Venera Bekirova, Zora Ziyadinova, Emine Mustafayeva demonstrate the originality and diversity of arts and crafts, the preservation and continuation of traditions, the continuity of generations , — reports the press service of the Republican Ministry of Culture.
During the presentation of the exhibition, the director of the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage Safiye Eminova, the master of artistic embroidery and gold embroidery Khalide Kipchakova, the embroiderers Zore Ziyadinova and Venera Bekirova spoke.
The event was accompanied by folk songs performed by vocalist of the Crimean Tatar Folklore Ensemble «Crimea» of the Crimean State Philharmonic Yunus Kakury.
