New gyms will appear in 15 Crimean rural schools and 6 institutions of secondary vocational education

Sergei Aksyonov clarified that 15 gyms will be built in schools and 6 more in institutions of secondary vocational education, where there were no grounds for physical education as such, since they were not initially provided for architecturally. Also, in the near future, municipalities will be identified in which new sports and recreation complexes will appear — 4 or 5 facilities in total.
In addition, the Head of the Republic said that the Government of the Republic of Crimea is currently making standard design decisions to improve sports stadiums in rural areas costing up to 10 million rubles per facility.
These funds will be used to repair basic infrastructure, including fields and surfaces, running tracks, and locker rooms. A stadium in the village of Zuya, Belogorsk district, was chosen as a pilot project.– shared the Head of Crimea.
In addition, Sergei Aksyonov informed about plans to conduct an audit of functioning sports institutions, primarily in rural areas, in order to determine priority repair work. At the same time, the Head of Crimea called on the leadership of municipalities to create the necessary conditions not only for training professional athletes, but also for the development of mass sports in the village as a whole.
The head of the republic paid special attention to supporting athletes representing Crimea at regional, all-Russian and international competitions.
Our guys have good preparation, but this does not mean that we can stop there. It is necessary to continue to improve the material and technical base, develop sports infrastructure, and equip teams with equipment and uniforms. We will also continue to finance the training and participation of athletes in competitions. This is important both for the popularization of sports in principle and for representing Crimea on the world political stage. In this matter, sport, like culture, helps to break down barriers, and athletes become real people’s diplomats. I believe that Crimeans should be represented as much as possible at all types of competitions in all sportssays the Head of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea and subordinate institutions, sports federations and schools, coaches and athletes for their great contribution to the industry. During the meeting, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, Olga Torubarova, presented a unified calendar plan for 2025, spoke about some problematic issues in the sphere, and also shared options for solving them. Among other things, the participants discussed topics of student sports, medical rehabilitation of athletes, and others.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Svetlana Maslova, heads of municipal administrations, and representatives of sports federations.
