In the fall, the State Duma will discuss proposals to launch new preferential mortgage programs, Chairman of the Duma Committee on the Financial Market Anatoly Aksakov said in an interview RIA Novosti. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance and experts will take part in the discussion.
The authorities will take into account the disadvantages of mass preferential mortgages. Since the new programs will be targeted, they will not affect macroeconomic indicators.
Several proposals for new preferential programs have already been prepared, Aksakov added. New support measures will affect employees working in advanced high-tech industries. In addition, it was proposed to launch construction mortgages in regions with large-scale housing construction, large projects for the construction of infrastructure or industrial enterprises. Based on the results of the discussion, the timing of the launch of new programs and the budget for three years will be determined.
Aksakov believes that the launch of new preferential mortgage programs will help solve the problem of personnel shortages, including in the IT industry.
