The Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage presents receipts on the history and culture of the Crimean Tatars. The exposition «Time to collect …» demonstrates the objects of fine and decorative art of the Crimean Tatars. Among them are examples of embroidery and weaving of the late 19th — early 20th centuries, fine jewelry, copper and ceramic utensils, rare old postcards from the early 20th century, a unique honorary badge of the People’s Artist of the Crimean ASSR Khairy Emir-zade and much more.
The Crimean Ethnographic Museum presented a collection of traditional Russian women’s costumes from the southern regions of Russia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As a result of the purchase, six women’s suits from the Voronezh province, a sheepskin coat, two shawls and a Mongol Magpie headdress were purchased. All 26 items are authentic, well-preserved, come from the private collection of Sergei Starodubtsev and characterize two types of traditional women’s costume — paneled and with an andprak-type skirt.
Museum collections are of cultural value as objects of material culture, are in good condition for their dating, have historical, cultural and artistic significance, and will be a worthy addition to collections.
