New route «Simferopol — Evpatoria — Mirny». Readiness – almost 90%

The construction of the four-lane highway «Simferopol — Evpatoria — Mirny» (on the section «Skvortsovo — Evpatoria» bypassing Lake Sasyk-Sivash) is being completed. The readiness of the facility, according to the Ministry of Transport of Crimea, is 89%. The length of the new highway (this section bypassing the city of Saki and Lake Sasyk-Sivash) is 61.2 km. The cost of construction is about 50 billion rubles.
In total, the facility provides for the construction of 17 artificial structures. Currently, work is underway to install technical means of traffic management, install outdoor lighting poles, install side stones and prepare the installation of the top layer of road pavement— reported the Ministry of Transport of Crimea.
On average, 134 people and 76 pieces of equipment are involved in the construction of the facility.
The new highway is an alternative route in the direction «Simferopol — Mirny» bypassing the large cities of the Black Sea coast of Crimea — Saki and Yevpatoria, as well as Lake Sasyk-Sivash. Traffic on the new highway will start on August 1.
