New Year's Christmas markets begin to operate in Crimea

New Year’s Christmas tree markets are starting to operate in Crimea. According to information from the administrations of municipalities of the Republic, 179 sites for the sale of New Year’s trees have been identified in cities and districts.
On the territory of Simferopol, 22 sites have been identified for the sale of New Year trees, in the urban district of Yalta — 9 sites, and in the urban district of Yevpatoria — 34 sites. Places have also been identified for organizing Christmas tree markets in rural settlements. In particular, 16 sites have been identified for the sale of New Year’s trees in the Krasnogvardeisky district, 21 sites in the Simferopol region, 5 sites in the Bakhchisarai regionreports the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Crimea.
Christmas trees will be sold until December 31, 2023 inclusive.

Prices? “Give or take” — but this year it’s a thousand per meter of pine trees cut down in November somewhere in the vastness of Russia (in Buryatia, for example).
