The State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea has started showing New Year’s gala concerts. The first performance has already taken place on December 26. Spectators are invited to New Year’s Eve concert 29, 30 and traditionally 31 December. This coming year, the meeting with the artists will take place on January 3 and 5.
Theater masters and young performers take part in the main New Year’s celebration. The concert, consisting of two parts, is accompanied by the theater’s symphony orchestra. To welcome the approaching New Year 2024, a Green Dragon will fly across the stagesaid the organizers.
The hosts of the concert — Andrey Koshelev, Kamelia Pedan, Viktor Feklushin and Margarita Khusainova will set the New Year’s mood from the first minutes of the concert program. They will perform the famous song of the Swedish group ABBA “Happy New Year”. Viewers will be invited to remember the New Year’s hits “Snowflake”, “Conversation with Happiness”, “I’ll Take You to the Tundra”, “And It’s Snowing”, “The January Blizzard is Ringing”. A surprise for the public will be the performance of songs by Park Jae-sang “GanghamStyle”, Garik Sukachev’s “My grandmother smokes a pipe”, Victor Reznikov’s “Song about a Kite”. The ballet dancers will delight you with new works — “Russian Dance”, “Dragon Dance”, “Date in Chukotka”.
The final song “Night of Happy Hopes” by Sergei Revtov and Mikhail Gutsiriev will be performed by all artists.
The concert director is Angelika Dobrunova, the conductor is Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Elmira Mukhterem.
