Every year, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations take part in charity events, giving a festive atmosphere to those who most lack the warmth and comfort of home. Firefighters come to children from orphanages and boarding schools and make their most cherished dreams come true. And the coming New Year is no exception.
On St. Nicholas Day (December 19), “firemen” Father Frost and Snegurochka came to the Lozova special boarding school to congratulate orphans on the upcoming holidays. Competitions were held for the children, they talked about safety and gave them long-awaited gifts.
A few weeks before the event, the guys wrote letters asking the good wizard for what they had wanted for so long. And our employees fulfilled their requests and brought what they wanted. The guys were happy and thanked Father Frost and Snegurochka for the New Year’s miracle— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
Exactly the same event was also held on December 19 in Kerch. Employees of the department of supervisory activities and preventive work visited the sponsored orphanage and congratulated the children on the upcoming holidays.
