“Night of Arts 2024”: what is the Museum of Defense of Sevastopol preparing

On November 3, the Museum of Defense of Sevastopol will join the All-Russian event “Night of Arts”. There will be interactive platforms where guests will learn interesting facts about medicine during the Great Patriotic War, Soviet and captured weapons, and will be able to learn Morse code and write letters from the front. The event will take place in the retro cinema «Ukraine».
According to Tourist portal of Crimeathis year the “Night of the Arts” event will be held under the motto “Uncover the secrets of wartime!” Therefore, the Sevastopol Defense Museum has prepared events related to this topic. Guests will learn what the city was like during the Great Patriotic War, get acquainted with the work of doctors and signalmen, and listen to songs of the war years to the accompaniment of a button accordion. The event will take place from 14:00 to 21:00.
Until 20:00 there will be interactive platforms where cinema visitors will meet with reenactors. The latter will tell interesting facts about medicine during the Great Patriotic War, the work of the field communications center of the Red Army and the command and observation post. Everyone will be able to learn Morse code, write letters from the front, and feel like battle painters by painting on canvas fragments of the famous diorama “The Assault of Sapun Mountain on May 7, 1944.” There are also interactive platforms “Weapons of Victory” and “Trophies of the Wehrmacht”.
At the same time, there will be master classes on printing a design on a scarf, painting wooden magnets, creating plaster souvenirs and plasticine drawings, the quest “The Immortal City of Our Glory” and the interactive lesson “Where does the army begin?” Guests will also be invited to assemble magnetic puzzles, look at the exhibits of the “Trajectory of Time” exhibition, and take original photographs in a themed photo zone.said the organizers of the action.
In addition, from 14:00 to 19:30 there will be an excursion “Soviet Soldier Uniform”. And at 20:00 the concert of the soloist of the Crimean State Philharmonic Alina Zhukova will begin.
